Prepare for Your Complimentary Orthodontic Consultation

We look forward to meeting you on your first visit to our office. During this time, we will help you get acquainted with our office and learn about your orthodontic treatment.

You should plan to spend at least an hour with us the first time. That’s to ensure that no one has to rush, and that you get plenty of time to ask any questions you may have. You will meet one of our receptionists or patient coordinators, who will take some information from you and bring you through the office. Then it’s time for some diagnostic work and an exam.

We will provide a complete clinical diagnosis of your orthodontic needs, a written summary of the findings and a detailed plan that outlines your treatment, goals and estimated fees. We encourage questions from both the patient and the parent, and as such, we provide ample time to answer your questions.

What to Bring to your First Visit

You can assist us by bringing the following to your first visit:

  • A list of questions you want to be answered by Dr. Dunegan and our team
  • Your orthodontic / dental insurance card (if applicable)
  • New Patient Forms

If your insurance covers orthodontic treatment, you will receive the benefit of reduced personal costs. Many insurance policies have a lifetime orthodontic benefit that is distinct from regular dental insurance. Remember that insurance policies vary, and we will review your insurance to determine the appropriate course of action. Once treatment has started, we will file your claims.

We are a preferred provider for:

  • MetLife
  • Delta Dental
  • United Concordia
  • and all PPO plans.

Patient Forms

For your convenience, our New Patient Forms are available for you to submit online. Please complete these forms prior to your first appointment to help save time!
